How do I get car insurance?

2. Armed with details of your car contact insurance companies online or on the phone. Make sure you tell the truth when asked for information about you or your car.
3. Choose the cheapest or best price making sure it includes everything you want it to.
4. Complete the application form.
5. You can either get immediate cover or select a start date of your own.
6. You can pay for it over monthly payments or in one lump sum. Note the monthly payments will be more expensive than the one off payment.
7. You will receive a pack from the insurance company containing your certificate
